Council of Scientific and Industrial Research- University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) conduct test twice each year for eligibility for Lectureship in December and June. Now CSIR NET Physics is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).
Exam Scheme:
Time: 2 Hours Maximum Mark: 200
It consists of the parts Part ‘A’, Part ‘B’, and Part ‘C’.
Part ‘A’: It consists of 20 questions from General Science, Quantitative reasoning, and an Analysis maximum of 15 questions can be attempt. Total Mark Allotted to this section is 30 out of 200.
Part ‘B’: It is consist of 25 MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) and each question is 3.5 mark. The total mark allotted is 70 out of 200. Candidates have to attaint 20 out of 25.
Part ‘C’: It is consists of 30 questions and each question has 5 marks. Only 20 can be attempted. The total mark allotted is 100 out of 200.
